About Joint Chatter

Joint Chatter is a blog with various authors from the staff and faculty of the Department of Joint, Interagency and Multinational Operations (DJIMO) at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC).

As specified in DJIMO's mission, the breadth of our curriculum and areas of interest is quite large. The curriculum ranges from the highest strategic level topics down to the seams at the operational/tactical level. DJIMO's advanced application (or elective) program includes courses in regional studies, operational design, national security and policy, space operations, information operations, homeland security, civil-military relations and many others too numerous to list here.

The experience and interests of our faculty members also spans a large range of topics in order to support the breadth of our instruction.  Therefore our authors will offer topics for further discussion on a wide range of issues.
